XiteBio® Yield+
Phosphate Solubilizing Inoculant

XiteBio® Yield+

Inoculant for Oilseeds, Cereals & Legumes

XiteBio®  Yield+ is a liquid inoculant for oilseeds, cereals and legumes. The active ingredient is our patented strain of Bacillus firmus.

XiteBio®  Yield+ works on three distinct modes of action:

  • P-solubilization
  • Phytohormone production
  • Iron chelation (High pH soils)

The unique patented strain of Bacillus firmus vigorously colonizes plant roots and solubilizes soil-bound P for increased plant uptake.  This combined with the growth phytohormone leads to earlier root development and plant growth. Siderophore production helps to chelate iron in high PH soils.

XiteBio®  Yield+ can be applied in two ways. In-furrow by tank mixing with most starter fertilizers, or with early-post herbicides through the sprayer at the 0-6 leaf stage.

XiteBio®  Yield+ is based on our PGPR (Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobia) platform. PGPR products introduce beneficial bacteria into the soil that release enzymes to stimulate plant growth.

XiteBio® Yield+ Field Trials Map

The development of an inoculant or ag-biological requires several years of extensive research to ensure that farmers are using a product of the highest quality. This includes testing its performance over a wide range of agro-climatic conditions. From small-plot, to large-plot, to farm-sized trials, across multiple geographic locations, products are tested repeatedly. Our products are only commercially launched once they demonstrate consistent and measurable performance. This is the standard of care that goes into every XiteBio product.

The map on this page contains the locations and results of all our field trials on XiteBio® Yield+ from 2012-2023

Testimonials

Curt Honeyman - Regent, ND
September 28, 2017

I am very excited about Yield+ for canola and very happy with the results. My untreated canola yielded 33 bu/ac but my Yield+ canola yielded 39 bu/ac. It also appeared to flower a little longer, maybe two days.

I’m happy with XiteBio’s Yield+ so far. Yield+ was very user-friendly, mixed in well, and was nicely compatible with the herbicide (Roundup). I expect Yield+ will allow us to reach higher yields than we otherwise would in this year's dry conditions.

Dan Bullinger - Bottineau, ND
September 28, 2017

We are always looking for something to boost yields. We are definitely expecting to get a boost from XiteBio’s Yield+ for canola. Yield+ is easy to use, and if we don’t have ease of operation, it won’t get into the tank and we won’t use it. Yield+ has potential to provide a real benefit to growers.

Paul Witteman - Mohall, ND
September 28, 2017

Yield+ for canola was user-friendly, no problem to use. The Yield+ canola looks healthy, and a healthy crop is a great crop. I am excitedly anticipating the final yield from the Yield+ treated crop. We will definitely average 35-40 bu/ac.

Ryan Miller - Hazen, ND
September 28, 2017

Yield+ led to more and longer pods. The plant and root system look healthier. I’d definitely be interested in using Yield+ again next year on our canola.

Craig Leas - Bisbee, ND
October 5, 2017

I got a good yield, over 2 bu/ac advantage (100-120 lbs/ac) with Yield+. I'm very happy about Yield+ and am definitely going to be using it again.

Max Miller - Hazen, ND
October 5, 2017

With untreated canola we harvested 24 bu/ac but with Yield+ treated canola we got 27.5 bu/ac, a 3.5 bu/ac advantage. We will definitely use Yield+ for canola again next year and are very happy with the handling of the product.

Scott Krakowetz - Christopher Lake, SK
November 15, 2018

Treated 80 acres out of 160 acres. Summer fallowed land and noticed 5-7 day maturity difference, compared to land untreated. I seeded on a 45 angle and sprayed cross ways so I know it wasn't in seeding pass that caused the maturity difference.
